Visualizing All the Gold Ever

Every wonder how much gold has been mined since the beginning of known time? According to Demonocracy, it'd be the size of that large golden cube in the image below- each side of said cube is just over 67 feet wide. 

The entire infographic at Demonocracy looks at the worth of gold and the total amount of gold held by the United States' Federal Reserve as well as several other countries' central banks.

The image below shows the relative sizes of various masses of gold, and what each mass of gold would look like as a cube. At the time of publishing this post the price of gold is ~$1,600/oz. That would make the small, 1 gram wafer of gold worth just over $56.
